Hello lovely Guehne-Made readers! I hope you had a fabulous and relaxing Labor Day weekend. We certainly did!
I recently bought the West Elm White Parsons Desk for my office and we moved the brown stained desk into our guest bedroom. That'll be the new home for the laptop. The white desk gives the office a lovely fresh vibe. I can tell it's going to be really easy to keep clean too. I was looking around on the internet this morning trying to find the perfect desk lamp. I was thinking about a brass one I'd found on Joss & Main, but it was pricey, over $200. I was hesitant about the splurge because I wanted a little bit of color too. After I stopped by a client's house this afternoon, I was feeling lucky, and decided to stop by the local Salvation Army. And to my delight this adorable pink and gold lamp was sitting on the shelf waiting for me! It'd actually been waiting for several months, and the little tan sticker price of $7.99 was actually an additional 20% off! I picked up a white shade from Target and pulled out the windex when I got home, and voila! This is my favorite kind of flea market find, one in which I just need to use a little cleaning product to make it sparkle.
Here are the office pix with the new West Elm White Parsons Desk and the pink & gold flea market steal!
