Hello to our dearest Guehne-Made readers!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday/Christmas break and cherished your time with friends & family. I know a lot people are still on holiday, but it was back to work for us today. For those of you that are still on a break, what better time to start thinking about your 2013 home projects?
I'm sure all companies notice their industrys' trends, and for us, there is a "trend" right now in the remodeling world. We have so many clients that are ready to renovate their stairs. I have to share this…I've had an obsession with stairs since I was a kid. I started purchasing artwork of stairs in high school, and still have several framed pieces on my walls to this day. Needless to say, I get excited when homeowners want to talk about renovating the stairs in their homes. I even started a board on the Guehne-Made Pinterest page, just for our clients to visit for inspiration. You can see it here.
By changing the stair treads, balusters, handrail, and newel posts, you can make a HUGE transformation in your home. It's a great way to refresh the overall look and update the architectural design. I made this little diagram for anyone that needs a visual for the different parts of the staircase. This will come in handy if you want to talk about your future stair renovation!
Here are TEN of my favorite stairs from Houzz.com. I have so many favorites, so I couldn't say top ten. I'll surely post more in the weeks to come. Check out this Guehne-Made stair renovation BEFORE & AFTER here. A breathtaking set of Guehne-Made curved stairs can be viewed here.

Wow...What an awesome post with great photos. I'm already falling in love with those stairs, especially the 4th photo of stair with yellow carpet which is so adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi Lan! I'd have to say stairs #4 are my favorite too. I love the grid pattern. Thank you!
