This past Saturday we had the joy of having our home photographed by two fabulous ladies. Amy Moore and Mandee Reid, owners of Bright Umbrella Photography. Amy and I actually met in elementary school many years ago. We lost touch after high school, but our passions in life made our paths cross again. I feel so fortunate to have people like Amy + Mandee in my life. They are full of passion and exude this amazing creative energy.
If you visit their website and read the We Click page (isn't that the best title?), you can read all about them. And I can happily affirm that they made me feel comfortable at hello. Their style is natural, bold, and BRIGHT. They both have a heart of gold.
Visit their website and blog to see all of their bright and breathtaking work here. Nick and I will be celebrating our five year wedding anniversary in March and we're planning a blissful photoshoot with them, in our home!
And if you're wondering Why? I finally had our home photographed professionally, it's because I was contacted by the editor of a local magazine (yay! so excited, jumping up & down). It is a dream come true to have all of our hard work in a glossy. I'll share all the juicy details in the months to come. For now, I'm sharing an itty-bitty peek!
Amy had the brilliant idea of snapping photos through the windows! She is one very talented lady.
Mandee worked her magic while making me smile every time I heard her charming laugh! She has one of those contagious laughs. I didn't even tell her this, but I heard her giggling about our misbehaving doggie Mrs. PB, and it made my heart happy! Just a sweet sweet laugh!

Of course, in true Guehne-Made fashion I was snapping Instagram photos all the days leading up to the photoshoot. I literally cleaned for eight hours on Friday and then shopped for fresh flowers for several hours that night. Taking photos along the way was my motivation to keep going! Follow me on instagram @wenguehne for all the daily G|M happenings.
